Webinars vs radio shows... what's the difference?

The radio shows are generally interviews -- conversations -- with interesting people. We can just talk and see where the conversation leads us. It's Joyce and one or two guests, like on the radio. Currently there is no call-in capability.

Webinars are somewhat more pre-defined. They allow us to have visuals -- slides usually -- which give the presentation a bit more structure. During the "live" session, people can even ask questions so there can be some give-and-take, with visual support. After the live session we can post the recording, so that others can see it at a different time.

It's an interesting new technology and we'd like to try it and see what value it adds for those of us in the VHL community. It's a way of attending a meeting without driving or flying or paying a hotel bill. You can even "attend" in your pajamas at midnight!

The webinar tonight is on Pre-Implantation Genetic Diagnosis. It is presented in response to a number of questions from folks like you! There will be about 10 people on the call -- why not come and ask your questions too?
