My sisters husband was recently diagnosed with VHL, tumor in the cerebellum. We are looking for a specialist in this area, and need one as soon as possible in the Omaha, Nebraska, or Kansas City area.

Any help would be great appreciated. thank you

Our son has had two surgeries on his cerebellum and five on his spine. Our neurosurgeon is Dr. Leslie Hellbusch at Midwest Neurosurgery and Spine Specialists. Their office is at 8005 Farnam Dr. in Omaha, Nebraska. It is right down the street from Methodist Hospital.

My husband already contacted you about our Dr in Omaha: Leslie Hellbusch had done 6 different surgeries on our son. He is excellent in his surgeries and a very caring surgeon. If you need a place to stay please feel free to contact me.

As you can see, there is a lot of positive feedback about Dr. Hellbusch.

In addition, the folks at University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City are also very good. They take care of several large families with VHL, and have been doing so for more than 20 years. The information for the clinical care center there is on our website:

Do you have a copy of our Handbook? You can download it from the internet, or send me a message to director@vhl.org and we will send you one.

Best wishes,
Joyce

Thank again.

We're sending you lots of positive thoughts. I hope it goes well.

Best wishes,
Joyce
