Hello all, it's Melanie. I thought I would just dropping a line. I am on my way to Toronto Tues March 24 to see Dr.Kertes,A retinal Specialist that specializes in diseases of the retina. Over the last year I have been seeing another doctor who has been trying to shrink my tumors in my right eye, but we have had no luck. I am so very glad I have not been pushed aside by doctors, they have ( and there has been lots) been so great. I had my yearly tests done and now they say I have Chiai 1 malformation too. It wasn't hard enough just to deal with VHL now this. VHL and Chiai 1 have a lot of the same symptoms. God must think I can handle all of this but some days I am not sure..I will let you know what I think of this new doctor. Thanks all and wish every one a pain free day.
