haemangioblastoma in superior vermis - operation or radiosurgery?

I had an operation on cerebellar haemangioblastoma (35mm with cyst) in 2001 and an operation on kidney after that in Singapore. Then I was diagnosed as VHL.

Now I am living in Canada. The recent MRI scan shows that I have a 13 mm cerebellar haemangioblastoma in right superior vermis. The tumor was as big as 8 mm in 2008 and 5 mm in 2007.

There are very few haemangioblastoma cases here. I was told there is about 1 case per year in this hospital. And the neurosurgeon told me it’s very risky to perform the tumor resection (considering the tumor location). They said the success rate of resecton surgery is about 80 - 90%. And they suggested performing Stereotactic Radiosurgery instead. However, they did not perform any SRS for haemangioblastoma before.

I am seeking second opinions. I asked my previous neurosurgeon in Singapore and he said the risk of resection surgery there is 5 - 7%, and the risk of serious complication is 1%.

I'm still hesitated about whether I should go for the Stereotactic Radiosurgery here in Canada or resection surgery elsewhere.

Do you know any one who had haemangioblastoma in "superior vermis"? How did the physicians treat them? Do you know any neurosurgeons in Canada who may have more experience dealing with haemangioblastoma?
