According to NIH this is actually a diet. I don't know of any diet to treat vhl. Here is the NIH link.

Also, I went on the Gerson site and quickly found some scientific problems. The site says, "It is rare to find cancer, arthritis, or other degenerative diseases in cultures considered 'primitive' by Western civilization." It is very rare to find in these cultures the CT machines, MRIs and urine tests used in finding the sign of vhl.
I would check with your doctor before starting any new diets. I tried one before my last surgery and ended up needing a blood tranfusion for anemia.
