Yes I Can! Award Offered to Children with Disabilities
Students with disabilities, ages 2 to 21, who have excelled in various areas are eligible for The Council of Exceptional Children’s Yes I Can! Award. This recognition is given in academics, arts, athletics, community service, employment, extracurricular activities, independent living skills, self advocacy and technology. All students who are nominated receive a certificate. Deadline for nominations is October 16.
