Our bodies are power houses already equipped with the best defense system in the world: the immune system. We already have the gateway to better health, we just need the right tools to assist in opening the door. Fruits, vegetables, grains, and nuts are the key ingredients to a healthy immune system with the capability of fighting disease and illness. If you want optimum health, significantly increase the amount of fruits and vegetables you consume on a day to day basis.

With a website such as this, I would expect more people to share their knowledge of the health benefits of vegetarianism. Do we just join groups to be in them or be apart of them? There is no much more I can share. Feel free to PM me!

Best wishes!

My daughter is a vegetarian and she feels great. I have also thought that I would also. I have noticed I feel better when I don't eat meat but I do have to make sure I get the right amt. of protein or I don't feel as good as I can. And the videos of how the animals are treated makes me sick to my stomach , I really am going to do what I can by not eating meat anymore. The cause is a good one and I play the paino at a 7th day adventist church, not a member though and I believe that they follow the Old Testament Laws of not eating that which is unclean, will further investigate! Thanks, what we put in does affect our health and I know I have abused my body in this way before and will make changes!! Thank for the input!!!

I am a Vegetarian and have been a Vegan as well. I will probably go back to being a Vegan once I figure out a way to stock my food out here in the desert.

We bought a home 20 mins from any shopping and no health food stores close at all, I have to go into the city to find a Whole Foods or Trader Joes, but if there is a will there is a way right? At least the gas prices are a lot cheaper now.

Anyway, I agree that increasing your intake of vegetables is excellent for your health, I eat about 7 servings a day of non starchy veggies and 2 or 3 servings of fruit.
