9 AUGUST IS MY BIRTHDAY

Today is my birthday and I truly want to THANK GOD for allowing me to see my 49th birthday. I want to thank Him for the peace and joy He has bestowed upon me. And I definitely want to thank Him for placing all the people on Inspire in my life. I have made some strong friendships.

So often I have heard people tell me I wish I had your faith. We all have faith -- it is not the church you belong to, it is not about material things. It is about a sense of self and knowing your purpose and also humbling yourself to a higher authority. I may not be as strong in my religious walk as I should be but I do know the center of my joy, I know my core, I know who orders my steps, and I know from whence my blessings flow.

Dad use to always say 'where there is a will there is a way and Davina will find the way'. I thank my parents and grandparents for providing me with a strong foundation and a sense of self. For providing me with a foundation.

I thank my children for providing me with the courage to continue to fight a good fight. I thank them for unconditional love. I thank them for being my purpose. Couldn't ask for better children they truly do my heart proud. Thank God for giving them to me.

I had a beautiful weekend. Spent it with my Sarcie other half, my children, my sarie other half's brother and girlfriend. This birthday was truly special. My father died on my 17th birthday so I always try to keep myself busy. While both I and my boyfriend have Sarc, we found out this week he also has prostate cancer. He is about to turn 41 on 24 August. This is just another part of our journey and an obstacle placed in our path. But we will side step it and continue on life's journey. Not going to allow the devil to steal our joy. No greater love is there than that of GOD!!!
