Go to a doctor or to www.WebMD.com or another medical website and look up the symptoms. Then go to a clinic or doctor.
I dicovered my diabetes when i went to the Dr. for a rash on my genitals . Many male friends have told me that this was how they found out about having diabetes . if it does not go away in a reasonable time maybe he should have his sugar level checked. Hope it's only poison ivy.
I am a diabetic and have been battling a rash on my gentials for about a year. I have tried numerous cremes from doctors and dermatologists and nobody seems to know what it is, they just say that it is from my diabetes. I think it is from having sex with a certain person but I have tested negative for any std's. The clinical doctor thinks that it is a fungal infection (yeast), but I can't get rid of it. All the research on the internet has informed me that there are many men having this problem, but nobody knows what it is. I have gone to see a homeopathic healer and am trying a new mixture of oils today. I will keep you posted.
If you are diabetic and you test clear of STDs it is because of your diabetes kinda, you need to get rid of all of the white products in your diet. White bread, white rice, pastries, anything made with white flour or that has been bleached to make it look better. Boils and yeast infections are a reaction from improper foods that help cause and affect diabetes. Men have yeast infections just like women but women show the symptoms easier because of our set up where the infection leaves it's evidence and yet some men show the evidence there as well but many don't even realise they have a yeast infection. Get rid of the bleached products for a while and see if this goes away in time.
There are also other tips that can help like drinking more water, adding a splash of lemon to a glass of water a day to help clean up the intestines and bring your body back to the alkaline levels it needs to be. The intestines is where that actual infection is, from my understanding, the rash is just the evidence that you are infected.
Look for more info on diabetes and you will find lots of help tips for cleaning and easing the symptoms.
Maybe this is scabies?? You never know...a rash that itches like that could be crabs or scabies. Take a look at webmd or go to www.informationonsymptoms.com and take a look at the pictures there. See if the pictures look like your rash.
