The impact of emotional conflict on your health

0 Recommendations

Greetings! This is Elisabeth, the health producer at U.S.News & World Report. It seems as if family conflict could cause damage to more than our egos. According to accumulating evidence, emotional conflict between spouses or among kin can take a toll on physical health, especially one's heart.

Has your wellness decreased when conflict at home heats up? What have you done to improve the situation?

Hi Elizabeth,

Emotional conflict causes Dis-ease, in all forms.

I was born with a heart defect, which I knew nothing about until 3 years ago. I work in the security industry, and had an armed robbery at my house 3 years ago.

My blood pressure started fluctuating badly, and I was being woken up with panic attacks . I hardly ever had a need for a Doctor prior to that...
The Cardio Specialist told me I would be on medication for the rest of my life, I answered `I don't think so'

So consulted the books and Alternative Healers and this is what I did. Actually, I attended courses and studied many modalities, - including Eastern - Chinese and Indian - and have become an Alternative Healer.

The Specialist said I should excercise - frankly I had difficulties. Prior to the `problem' I had always been to Yoga or attended the Gym.
So I started walking, slowly at first, and for a few minutes at a time, until I built up strength.

I did not receive any advice from the Specialist on diet.
So I did my own thing - I have always been a meat eater (still am, but don't eat as much as before).
Decided that I need to practice `Food Combining' Eating Vegetables with Carbohydrates OR Vegetables with Protein. The digestion time is 3-4 hours if one eats in this manner. I cut out dairy and wheat products - this is inflammation forming.
In addition, I mix juice of 1 lemon with 5litres (8pints) water, and SIP this day and night - dehydration is a problem for everyone - cleansing for blood and organs
In addition I take Juices - Raw Vegetable, and fruit.

I also found I had a `breathing' - shortness of breath - problem. So I purchased some Enzyme capsuls - Energetic Nutrition.com and take only one a day. This reduces the filbrin and inflamation in the body and heals internal and external scars. They have a capsul called VitalzymSEB which is for heart patients.

It took 6 months to clear my lungs, so that my breathing was normal
In addition, I did breathing excercises when ever I could - breathe in to count of 5 and out to count of 5.
Gradually increasing number to 10
I also meditate, make affirmations, and think positive.

Six months after being diagnosed, the medication was reduced by half. then six months later reduced by another 25%.
After 18 months I am off all medication.

So you see, you can do it.
With prayer, diet and light excercise, and positive thinking.

I would try this regime, if you have had an operation. Wond do any harm

Of course, I have to watch my blood pressure and stress levels, diet and meditation.

Don't feel sorry for yourself, difficult most of the time, I know. Be tough and focused
