Prolonged pain & swelling on back of neck

0 Recommendations

Hi, I am new to this site. I started having some health problems recently. About a month ago I went to see my physician with what I thought as a stiff neck. During the visit he noticed some swelling, about the size of a golf ball, on the back of my neck. He ran some blood work as well as x-rays. Both came back fine. I am now going to see an ENT in a couple days. My assumption is that he will order an MRI. The only real symptoms I have is the pain in my neck. I can't fully turn to the left, right, up or down. Pain is worst in the mornings and evenings. Has anyone experienced this before? If so, any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I've tried doing my own research on the internet, but there is so much information that it is overwhelming. Thanks in advance for any feedback!
