joint pains

0 Recommendations

I'm 28 and I'm starting to feel joint pains in my body. Specifically, my wrists and my knees. I talked to my doctor and he ran some tests and they all tested negative for arthritis. I am to see another doctor who specializes in joint pains for further help but just before I do that, can you share any info you might know about joint pains and how you treat it? Thanks.

Hi there. I have rheumatoid arthritis and I know I don’t even have to tell you how painful that is. You can ask a doctor about what exercises you can try to help you with the joint problem. After getting diagnosed of what’s causing yours, of course. Then ask for a pain reliever. You’ll need them on the bad days. So far, in my case, tramadol has been very helpful. It doesn’t remove the pain 100% but is good enough to make the day manageable. Ask your doctor about it too. The best of luck.

Do you have any other symptoms, as well as the joint pains? If you do then I might suggest looking into something other than arthritis.

I have joint pains and arthritis like symptoms with my Lyme Disease. I also have many other symptoms too though.

It sucks to feel like 90 years old when your in your late 20's and early 30s. I can relate to that.

good luck

If you were older I would ask if you are on the drug Lipitor. Lipitor's side effect includes joint pain. It was a terrible drug for me.

Sometimes its psychological...our fear of a specific disease can cause symptoms.

Also you might want to look at what you are doing...sounds more like that is the cause. Are you lifting heavy boxes etc while bending your knees?. Are you going to the gym and learning a new group of exercises?

Hope you find an answer.........

Hugs from Fairfax Virginia;
Dee
