Go to delphiplus forum there u will find several groups that chat about hep. I found one last yr when I started treatment and they got me through it. I wouldnt have made it through without them. The one I talk with is Heppers, Hep c heppers for awareness, great people there, you are welcomed anytime. There is no charge to chat with us, we are in the same boat as you and we help each other. Hope to see you there.

Find an alternative doctor that treats patients with intravenous sodium ascorbate (vitamin C). About ten years ago Doctor Cathcart told me that he could cure Hepatitus C in less than a week with Vitamin C.

Thank you for the web Info.Sorry I could'nt get back sooner,But the 24th of Jan.was my birthday.My doctor referred me to a G.I Specailist.I think that doctor wants to send me to get a liver byopsy.I'am not realy sure what all that doctor wants to do.This is all scary for me.

Everyone who finds this out is always scared at first, its natural. But its in your best interest to find out all about it and what works and what doesnt, I have never heard about this vid c before but in heppers their are posting about all the methods that the docs usually talk about. Please come and visit us we have posted about the methods the doctor will tell you about.

Hello :Thank you for writting me.Polishgirl you make me realy feel like I'am not alone.I have been so scared,I have dune nothing,But sleep.I wont know more till I can save up the money I need for the specalist.The health department said I need a shot once a week.With what medical Insurence?

There are many in the same boat without insurance, first see the liver doctor and see what he tells you. If you do need to treat it some drug companies give the meds out free, but take the first step and see the specialist, they need to find out a few things about your liver to see if you need treatment or not. Hep c is not a death sentence, many people die with it not from it but you need to know what condition your liver is in.

Don't they have medical for people with hep.c?I'am on pateint assestence for two other medical conditions,not encluding the one I now got.My doctor asked me for $ 80.00 for a specailist.,And there are no jobs,pluse nobody will hire me with all these problems,and no car.I had to ask my family for the money.I'am a little to old to be asking my family for money.what drug companies gives meds out free?thank you for writting me back,any thing is helpfull.I'am so stressed I can't sleep,And when I do my other medical condition keeps me up.So all together, I now have three medical problems.So I go to the doctor,hospital every three months,And now health department,And a specalist,Not to metion try to find a job.And take my clothes on a buss to the laundrymat.Not that I'am complaining,but I still have to find a job.And with all the doctor appiontments, And tests how would I keep a job?I don't know why I'am tell you all this,I'am just scared.

If you are getting help for other conditions then whoever is helping you should help you with this one to. Sleeping was my major complaint with hep, I couldnt sleep, the liver does alot to our bodies and we don't realize it, there are many sides from hep discuss them with the liver doctor, also I'm sorry your life seems to be falling apart I would get my health back first before I would worry about a job, cant you get assistance in the city you live in? Stress does alot to us and with all your medical problems I'm sure its not helping. Please get to the liver doctor he can tell you what the condition of your liver is in and if you need treatment or not. Please come into heppers there are alot of people in the same boat and alot of material you can read about hep.

Thank you for you feed back.I have tryed city,and fedral assetence.But they say I have been denied.I have to be blind,missing arms or legs,or be bed ridden,or have somthing wrong with my organs.As fare as wellfare,I have to be pragnent,or have children.Or disability.Disability aready said I was denied.So I got a lawer,still nothing yet.My boyfriend helps,But he has to pay child support.He also has his own medical Issues.I'am hopping this new presadent will change things.
As fare as getting my health back, I dought that will ever happen.I had a near death exsperence,And almost died.I didn't get better, I got worse.Then on top of It, I found out I have hep.c
So then I ask myself,"any thing els"The only way I can afford all this Is to try to find a job.All my medicens,doctors,and labs are more then my rent.I thought about appyling,And not telling my any employer about medical conditions so mabe I could have a job.

I'am greatfull for your support.I will be getting my last hep.c vaccene.And my next doctors appointment Is June the 8th.I fillaly got the 80.00 dollars to go see a specialist for my hep.c I won't know any thing els till then.I'am struggaling with my typ 1 diabeties as well.How did I enspire you If you don't mind me asking?Thank you for writting me,And wellcome

Hay girl!Thank you for asking.I finally got the money saved up for my specialist for my hep.c I see the doctor June the 8th.I wont know any thing els till then.I will get my last vaccene June the15th.So how have you been doing?Cool photo of you.Take care thank you for your support

Hello Ashley4,
Your message was the first I I'd read when I decided to begin some looking around on the lists. It brought back my own feelings I went through the day and weeks/months after I was diagnosed. There were a couple support groups online back then but I found them pretty discouraging. You reached out for help and that is inspiring to me. So many women don't. It seems you reached out to the right group too. Lot's of love here for you I see. Thanks for the update, I'm glad you've got the dollars you need for the appointment with the gastro-?
I read you had an attorney helping you. Did you appeal your diability application/denial? I just got approved and would be glad to answer what questions I can regarding the proces. It took 8 months. Not for hep C though, but fibromyalgia.

The right groups are hard to find.I'am realy happy you found mine inspiring.I still have lots of qestions about hep.c If there are any free sevices.I have been unempoyed for two years.Lots of medical problems.And my medican costs lots of money.I'am on patient assestence,But very little help.I'am still waiting to go to court.My lawer said he don't think I have much of a chance,But god willing,I will do my best in court.I had a near death exsperence that changed my life.If you click on my name you can read about It If you like.I refuse to just give up,I know whare ever there Is a will,There Is a way.God bless;Thank you for writting me

Ashley, Regarding services, I'd be glad to do a little looking around in your area but I don't know what city you're in and you may not want to put that kind of info here necessarily.
Get signed up at delphiforums. I'm the same there as here Tplant01. I spend time in liver failure. We can talk on the side there.
Also, I want to let you know that polishgirl is giving you some good advice. You definitely need to learn where you are at in the process of hep c before you do anything. Even using things that may seem healthy, like herbs etc. Believe me I know. Find out what stage you're at first. It's the key to everything right now.
Re: disability - court sounds a little drastic to me. What type of disability were you applying for. I went for permanent. If we could talk in private I can learn more about what your conditions are and possibly be able to help a little in that area.
For now besides waiting, a healthy diet is good to have. You probably are already doing that if you're diabetic.
