Can you please help with giving any suggestions on relieving the pain from fibromyalgia sufferrers? My husband was diagnosed to having it and am not sure of how to best treat it. I'm taking him tomorrow to his doc for further help. A friend also mentioned several meds and so far tramadol meds is common. Anything you can share on this as well?

Thanks and have a pain-free day.

Hi,
I have a number of friends diagnosed with fibromyalgia who are treating it and the pain very successfully with an amino acid called L-Arginine. They have been able to reduce their medications and in some cases eliminate them all together and the reduce the pain assoicated with fibromyalgia. When looking for an L-Arginine product make sure that it has Citrulline or you'll see it sometimes as L-Citrulline which is matabolized to yield more L-Arginine. You will see much of the research done on L-Arginine focused on cardiovascular health and the reversal of cardiovascular disease, improved circulation, lower blood pressure etc. and not as much on the additional health benefits that people realize. I really encourage you to look more closely into this, there are no side negative side affects and many positive. Please let me know if you have questions. Your husband will thank you for this!!

My mother in law has had Fibromyalgia so severe she has had to wear special shoes to find some relief. She has found an organic chocolate that has gotten rid of most her pain. Email me at Bentley23psalm@live.com with the subject of Fibromyalgia relief

I have been given Lyrica in the last month and my world is SO MUCH better, I can walk without my cane and sleep at night..I am on 100mil twice a day and tramdol as needed.
ASk about Lyrica

Apparently, they are having good success with the drug Lyrica...I am unwilling to try it though, because of the all other meds I need to take right now.

The only relief I got from fibromyalgia was anesthesia pads placed onto my back and neck. It took a long time to kick in, and I currently still receive them monthly for maintenance....but they got me mobile and gave me my life back.

But, my pain specialist doc says he's the only one doing this treatment in Canada, and he's at St. Micheals hospital in Toronto. The waiting list was a year when I started. It's now up to 1 1/2 years.

Try to find a doc who is willing to get ahold of Dr. Chan for info. The pads are purchased from Italy, but the equipment itself is readily available.

Regards

dr. Chan was just deported to canada from u.s found guilty of med.fraud. Did unnessasry surgery on people for the kickbacks! Did surgery on my back and i have never been the same! Hes a bastard!!!

If you think it's the not The same dr. and would like the article i can send it t you with his picture!

I met another patient at my Lyme doc's office, who had Lyme disease for about 10 years. This patient said the Lyrica was the best stuff he's tried in many, many years. The antibiotics he's on help him a little but not as much as the Lyrica. He says his muscle pain, the burning, the joint pain were so much better on Lyrica. He had a lot of Lyme symptoms in his legs, sounded like from our conversation. He had just started it a week or two before I talked with him.
