erection problem

0 Recommendations

The past couple of months, I noticed that I can’t keep an erection. I get a stiff one but then when I stop stimulating it, it gets real soft. This happens both during masturbation and when having sex with my girlfriend. I’ve never had any erection problem in the past. It’s always a boner. I’m only 25 so I’m worried that this is already ED. Any help?

Well, you are describing ED. And getting prescription for one of those drugs might help. But first I'd advise you to think about the other - and more important - sex organ: the one between your ears. Are you stressed out about something? Work? Your relationship? Your sexuality? Any of these things can distract you, get into your brain after the sex gets started and act just like a cold shower.

Most guys are brought up and socialized by their community to believe that they are straight. It is often when they are in their 20s to 40s when their true sexual identity starts to surface. You might be gay or bi or some other variation way down deep, and your active brain may be fighting it so much that your ability to maintain an erection to completion is compromised. I see a lot of guys (lots more than the 1/20 that the statistics say) where this is an ultimate cause. But even if this is not your situation, look at the example. It's the mind struggling with something, and getting in the way of enjoying sex.

Get checked out for any possible physical problems, consider ED drugs or restrictive devices to keep your erection durations up. And give a lot of thought to what might be stressing you out. Sometimes a shrink can really help, don't discount that option either.
