hi cabcat.... i feel your pain with your problem... i too have asthma.. you didnt say fi you are on any other meds other than a rescue inhaler and neb.. do you take a preventative med like advait or azmacort? i am on advair , done well with it .. my son is on azmacort...

are the neb treatments helping?

what to do in your position? i would suggest if you cant get a hold of your doc, then a trip to the ER might be your only option...if you lost your rescue inhaler, cant you get another one?? do you have insurance? if not , places like walmart and any pharmacy will have a over the counter inhaler called Primatine Mist... it works pretty good if you dont have a prescribed inhaler.. they cost about $10.00 to 15.00...you might want to try that if you dont want to go to the er right now, but only you know how mush of a serious place you are in right now.....

go to the er or get an inhaler soon!!!!

Good luck!!
