My daughter Hailey ,7, was diagnosed a year ago. It took 5 years to get a diagnosis. She appeared to develope normally until 9 months when she stopped eating and started having seizures. She was unable to have bowel movements without a laxative until I started her on acai berry juice (name brand "Mona Vie") a year ago. she can walk , talk , sing and eat now!! she is like a 4 year old, but is in a regular kindergarten class. at school she receives speech, PT, and OT and some special ed. We never give up and always stay positive. she is a very happy little girl , full of sunshine.
