would like to know how others are doing post tx and if anyone used aceitylcisteine. if there was a decline when did it start and how bad did it get. sorry to ask but i need to know what i am facing. i thought a transplant stopped this monster. now i am told it may not have even with a successful tx.

My son, Connor, was transplanted in 2005 and is doing great. He had very little decline post-transplant, if any. I know it makes a difference how early in the disease process the transplant is done, but there is hope for a successful tx! We have not used acetylcisteine. God bless you and your family.
