Hey there... just thought I would share the news that I went back to the neph today and my numbers look great so even though I have only been on prednisone since the end of January we are ready to taper me off! I go down to 50 tomorrow and then each month we will drop it another 10!!!! I am excited about all of this especially because I also have a cyst on the outside of my left kidney on the pole (not related to the FSGS) that has grown but my urologist did not want to do the MRI with dye on because of everything else... I really don't want to have the MRI but I know I have to be carefully with the cyst, especially since it grew 28% to 3.2 cm... I'm lucky though because I did not even have to share this information with my neph because after each of my appointments my doctors each sit down and send a letter to my other docs (right now it is my neph, gp, and urologist that are writing- and now so will my pulmonary specialist since I have bronchitis so bad that I am down to 59% lung capacity)... Ok, it's been a long week but I have 6 days of school left and tomorrow I take 34 7th graders to Chicago which makes for a very long day but it's almost over!!!! I hope all of you are doing well and overall I am excited about my numbers...
