Hey there... ok... it has been a weird last month... I went to Phoenix and Las Vegas for a week and that was a great experience... I got to meet Wayne Brady... I also saw his show (we sat front row center stage)... My husband even got called up onto the stage... It was his dream come true and I was so happy for him... I loved watching his reaction and his adlibing!
Got back and I taught summer school for 2 weeks and that went great...
Then there was today... I went to get my standing order done... They opened at 7... the other two people left at 7:15 because there was no one there to register us... Luckily, since mine was a standing order the lab tech could do what I needed which was really great because I had to use the bathroom!
So I go from there to an 8 o'clock appointment to get the oil changed and trying to figure out why the Service Engine Soon light has been on... It comes on everytime just before an oil change but they think they know why now... The part will be in tomorrow... Yeah!!! (I had to switch cars with my husband because mine was a shift and his was an automatic and the other day I had a bad leg cramp while driving so I thought it was time to switch)... So, tomorrow morning I will have a fixed car!
Ok... I got done there and had just enough time to go over and workout at Curves (just enough time- it was perfect!)...
Then I went and had my braces put on my teeth and the spacers put in... I go next week to have the spacers removed and the back brackets put on... It took 2 hours for the first bracket to fall off today!
My ortho had me go to an oral surgeon and so I also had that appointment today... I got there and the surgeon said that they rarely recommend the removal for anyone over the age of 25 (I just miss that by a couple of days... hehe)... He asked me if they were coming through at all and asked me if they were hurting- and it is neither one!!!! He studied my x-rays and they look healthy and there is enough room for where the teeth are going to be moved so I do not have to have surgery! Whoo Hooo!!!
Ok... that is all... I have a lot to do before next week when school starts but now I don't have to worry about being in quite as much pain (although my mouth is sore now and I am trying to limit how much medicine I take sine I already take enough!)...
Ok.. my supper should be here soon (Beef Manhattan so hopefully I can eat the potatoes).... I hope everyone has a Tigger day.....
