what an interesting ride

Hi! I'm Kris, new to the forum and currently on lid. We recently moved to Phoenix from MA and with all the moving things one has to have new docs, dentist, etc. Well, in a consult with my new dentist he found a lump in my neck and told me to get it checked out ASAP, that was Sept 11, 2013 and today I am 4 weeks post surgery. I have papillary ca and they left some on the margins. I will have RAI either Nov 27 or Dec 2. One of the worst aspects of this is being new to the area and not knowing anyone lol. Imagine meeting your primary care physician on an emergent basis. I know everything will eventually work out, but some days I wish it were sooner rather than later : )
