Anyone tried Real Dose.com weight loss pills?

I have Psoriatic Arthritis and real problems with my feet, so naturally keeping the weight off is really important for me. I live in Australia and have for the past 3 years been following an eating plan called, 'Bodytrim' which is essentially a high protein/low carb regime, from which I lost 20kg and felt much better for it. Part of it is a recognition of eating the correct food types as well, especially in relation to my PsA, low inflammatory type foods.

This lead me to this recent post on the forum:

http://www.inspire.com/groups/talk-psoriasis/journal/not-a-fad-diet/

with this link in it:

http://www.livestrong.com/article/27115-list-inflammatory-foods/

with one more link (to which this post refers to):

http://www.realdose.com/weight-loss/g/lose-belly-fat-naturally/?a_aid=PPC&a _bid=1722cbe9&chan=GPPC&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=fiber%20f ood&utm_campaign=weight_loss

As I have hit a brick wall with my weight loss and can't budge any more, I have decided to give this a go. Researching reviews on line, many have found success on the program, some haven't and others think it's a scam. I would be interested to see if anyone on this forum has tried it and what success or otherwise they have had.

Cheers,
Sean

Hi Patti,

I am impressed with the follow up 'Dr Steve' has been providing. In addition to the pills, he provides an extensive pdf download on correct diet which follows the basics of my 'Bodytrim' system (this impresses me as he is not advocating 'kooky' diet plans), plus he has now sent me an article on the correct type of exercise regime to follow (anaerobic fast burst exercise) as the best way to speed up your metabolism and lose weight faster. He send you this info while the pills are being mailed to you.

Definitely worth watching the video presentation in that link I sent you. It is a bit long (about 20 minutes) but I found it worthwhile.
Let me know if you do give it a go, and how you do on it. I will do the same once I start the pills (sounds bizarre - diet pills, but I'm willing to give them a try.

All the best,
Sean

I have had great success without even trying on Dr. Fuhrman's Eat to Live regime. Within 3 weeks ( I was never large just 5-10 lb at my heavies after having my kids) I lost all belly fat and muffin top. No pills and no changes other than proper nutritional eating at only the cost of a book. I am otherwise active and going to the gym or walking. So some activity 6-7 days a week.

As was I for the first 3 yrs, however still sticking to the plan, I have plateauxed and can't seem to budge any more. Hence the interest in this as an option. Will advise if it works for me once the pill arrive. Meantime I am strictly keeping to the plan.

Cheers

I think diet pills are dangerous. And I don't see how pills would work long term unless you took them long term; and you don't want to do that. I have read that if you plateau you should make some healthy changes to your diet or exercise routine as things have become stale and need shaking up. I am pretty sure that means trying swimming instead of running, and nothing to do with taking diet pills instead ;) I have to agree with szusza here. Dr. Fuhrman's Eat to Live regime will be a trillion times better for you than pills. I have learnt that the best food on this planet is raw kale. Kale smoothies, kale juices, kale in salads, are all very detoxifying for your body and will help to shift stubborn pounds very quickly. Also learnt that sometimes fat is not fat but inflammation in the body. If you have problems around the tummy area it could be something like inflammation from eating wheat or similar. In that case you won't shift the "fat" until you eliminate the offending food item. I have also learnt that intolerances to wheat or whatever can strike at any age even if you have eaten said product for years before without any problems. Being 3 years on the same plan eating the same foods may have left you intolerant to something. I lost weight easily after removing gluten, dairy and white sugar, and following Dr. Fuhrman's nutritional advice. Cleared up my body psoriasis too in the process.

I live in Australia, and I am not familiar with what 'kale' is. Be interested to know.

The pills that Real Dose supply are not your normal diet pills, but work on turning the hormones that store fat off. Worth watching the video to see what it is about. What he does though is send you a heap of really valuable follow up info, like this table giving the sugar levels in various fruits. Fruit contains fructose and is metabolised by the body into making fat (I knew that). What I didn't know though was how high in sugar apples were. I haven't received the pills just yet, but certainly the pre-dose info is extremely worthwhile:

(copy of the table - it hasn't copied very well, just take note of the last number which is the Total Metabolic Fructose count)

I would not worry about fruit; fresh fruit can't make you fat. Ask any fruitarian or raw foodist; they are the thinnest people on the planet and virtually live on just fruit alone day in and day out. Tinned fruit is another matter as it is often stored in sugary syrup. And every one knows the dangers of candy and soft drinks that are loaded with sugar. And worse artificial sweeteners that have been proven to make you crave sweet things and make you fatter. Have you honestly never heard of kale! They must have kale in Australia; maybe it is known by another name.

Diet pills have been linked to cancer; kale prevents cancer. I know which one I would prefer. I have never tried Real Dose.com and have no plans to, so can't advise there. I prefer losing weight and keeping it off with superior nutrition like Dr. Fuhrman's Eat to Live program and exercise.

Have you tire real dose? Does it work also have you tried lipozene. I am not sure which to try.

It is also my opinion that you have not needed any medication for weight loss.
I was inspired by your fellow movie 'Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead' (you can find it in You Tube) to switch to raw - green smoothies
Just two months later, I was 10 kg lighter (which for me is fatal 170sm/52kg) and completely clean skin without psoriasis.
I had to stop because continued to thin down.

Seven months later, almost normal diet and I'm not put additional weight, but this is due to joint pain and depression.
