I look for information all the time.....My Billy had a chronic heart attack with anoxia to the brain and to the heart on April 10, 2009....I was alone in the morning with him when he complained of chest pains and told me he didn't want me to call 911 but to just take him to the hospital......next thing we know he's flatlined for an undetermined amount of time and is in an induced coma for 2 days and is on life support......the doctors didnt give us much hope and said we should pull the plug......he survived...had a pacemaker and defib put into him spent 92 days in the hospital in different untils of the hospital and came home to me.....now it's 3 months at home......His best friend Jeremy moved next door to help and his son Joey moved down from NY to care for him also....friends have been wonderful and supportive....we try all kinds of therapies on an ungoing basis......he is now going to hyperbaric chamber 5 days a week at Mark Fowler's in St. Pete.,Fl. as well as working out everyday and acupuncture & adjustments at Dr. Lichter's Chiro. once a week...he is off all mind altering drugs and is on a new product called NUTRASTEM by Dr. Paul Sanberg of USF....i am thrilled with it and all of the therapies since he is improving everyday.......his short term memory is coming back slowly but surely........he sees light......i hope thats a good sign.......he has no optical damage of any kind per the neuroopthomologist, Dr. Drucker at USF.......i want to purchase a hyperbaric chamber of our own because reading about it, i believe it will make a big difference in his recovery.........HE IS THE MIRACLE MAN.....his website is the title www.powercatcharters.com/Billy .....and i am inspired!!!!!!!!!! we have a long road a head of us but i am willing to follow it all the way........i know this is a lot but i am an italian from NJ who talks a lot is there anything else i should be doing pertaining to therapy....i will do just about anything.....????
