I went to a chiropractor and ever since I feel something is really wrong. I have had a total of 3 neck adjustments within a 1 week period and twice I experience a sharp shooting pain on the right side of my neck during the adjustments. Immediately after the adjustments I was shocked but was told that the pain was normal. I wasnt in lingering pain till about two days after the last adjustment when I began to notice a tingling in the back of my neck. My muscles were sore but I expected that. I noticed more numbness in my hands and a pain traveling down my right arm. I then began to feel like my neck was swelling and pain up the right side of my face. It has since been 3 weeks and I have this headache that feels more like a tension headache with pressure in both my ears and behind my eyes. My shoulders and neck feel bruised by the end of the day. It is constant unless I take a muscle relaxer but always returns.I feel sick to my stomach at times but not sure if that is my nerves. I have been doing some research about injuries caused by chiropractors because I dont feel like my doc is listening to me. I feel like he is blowing me off.He had an xray taken of my neck but it showed no pathology. He refuses to order an MRI. I need to know if my symptoms are similar to anyone elses preceeding their stroke.
