I had a CVA back in November of 09 no on beleieves me (my family) because I look normal. My left side is weak but not numb I suffer from Migraines which I never had a problem with before dizzyness and insomnia even though I am extremely tired I can't remember anything. Even though I have given my mother my medical reports and my husband has gone to the doctor visits my mother doesn't believe me and I get no help from my husband. It is very frustrating and no one realizes the energy it takes just to walk a straight line never mind still work a full time job and come home to take care of the kids and house. Not only do I have the symptoms of the stroke I also have Lupus and fibromyalgia another thing my mother thinks I am lying about and yet another thing that "can't be seen" it is all very frustrating and tiring plus that my husband turned to drugs and alcohol when he lost his job because "he couldn't take it" needless to say the darvocet that was given to me for those "bad flares" has dwindled down without me taking them. Very very frustrating.
