I had hip replacement surgery on Oct 19-they also put a rod in my leg. The sarcoid was pushing the bone marrow out and causing pain and weakening the bone.
I was terrified it would not heal properly but I am doing great!!!! There are few to none records about sarcoid and joint replacement. They are keeping my hip for "teaching purposes"---------very few Dr.'s have actually seen how bone sarcoid works.
