My Brother and I both have Sarcoidosis. I have been in remission for several years now, but my Brother has been getting worse every year. It started in his lungs, spread to his spleen-which he had removed, then to his kidnesy---over 40 kidney stones, now to his joints and musles. He is only 38. Now his wife just told yesterday that she is leaving him and taking the kids. She wants someone to take care of her now. She is so selfish. I don't know how she can do this to him. He can't work, he does not have a car and they are getting ready to forclose on their house. Can it get much worse for him. I pray to God that he can get through this tough time. I thought when you got married it included for Sickness & in Health. Well some people don't believe in that I guess.
Just had to vent. God Bless everyone.

Sarcoidosis and the Body
Sarcoidosis is a "multiorgan" disease - meaning it almost always involves more than one organ. It's unpredictable and affects different people in different ways.

You can learn about the ways in which sarcoidosis affects the body in FSR's Sarcoidosis and the Body brochure.
