im trying to write something everyday it shows how long it takes to get treatment my parents feel asthough i was born with sarcoid as ive been ill from birth i was lactose intolerent at birth so i had special juices on prescription then i had every childs illness under the sun i seemed to spend once a week in a&e with either a broken bone or measles i had everything .when i reached the age 14 i started having bad ibs which took 6years to be confirmed after several tests then i started having constant cystitus which was another years testing when i was 25 the sarcoid started i lost my sight in both eyes to really bad iritus which took the doctor 3 months to sort out then when i went in one day the doctor sent me to a&e to get looked at then came the arthritus back in again for xrays to see if anything was broken basically it took 2 more years and a lot of infections before i saw a doctor who had heard of sarcoid he then did a chest xray and noticed the shadow after another stay in hospital and a mediastinoscopy sarcoid was finally confirmed now im having stomach problems ive had 2 ulcers and pancreatitus twice in the past 10 months the doctor has now decided to refer me back to gastro so i now have to undergo all the tests i had back in 1998 again to see if my sarcoid has spread to my pancreas but there is a 2 month waiting list why dont they give me the steroids now without all the messing about with tests they no i have sarcoid im sick of all this waiting sarcoid is a curse if you ask me i wouldnt wish it on anyone its taken my life away whilst all my friends have had families and traveled ive been stuck in a dead end job worrying whats gonna go wrong with me next
