I WROTE AWHILE BACK HOW SAKS FIFTH AVE DECIDED TO ARREST ME FOR WALKING OUT WITH A HANBAG COMPLETELY UNCONCEALED...I WENT THERE TO PAY MY MONTHLY BILL AND TOLD THEM REPEATEDLY THAT I WAS VERY SICK.....but they were cruel and said things like"we can do this the hard way or the easy way".....Plus I had just started chemotherapy for all the autoimmune stuff...

turns out it was in the police blotter on line for over a week!!! Suicide and I have never been closer.

I am sorry that I am wasting precious time on this but bad enough to be sick...SAks was like a haven away from illness for me....And now even with all the sales emails and sales promotions from women at the store and mail......I was told that day 'NEVER TO COME BACK."
PATHETIC THAT I FEEL HURT BY SAKS!!!!!

I would write to corporate. They probably have no clue as to how badly you were treated.
The ones who treated you so poorly are more likely to get the discipline they so much very need.

Best of Luck,
Doreen

You did absolutely nothing wrong and you know and we know it. Don't beat yourself up.

I think DoreenC has a wonderful suggestion. Write Sak's Corporate Office. Explain the situation and say that while you understand the need to prevent shoplifting their staff needs to be more sensitive to medical conditions and the actions of a person that make it obvious there was no intention of shoplifting.

Who knows, you might even get a store credit out of the ordeal.

Lots of Hugs and don't be so hard on yourself,
Becca

I can totally understand how that could have happened. I am so absent minded, sometimes I will go to the store and forget where I parked, even when I have only been in the store for 5 minutes. I also forget why am there. It is a horrible feeling. I wil pray for you that everything works out for you.

Blessings,
Debbie

Help and information from FSR

Sarcoidosis and the Body
Sarcoidosis is a "multiorgan" disease - meaning it almost always involves more than one organ. It's unpredictable and affects different people in different ways.

You can learn about the ways in which sarcoidosis affects the body in FSR's Sarcoidosis and the Body brochure.
