Rheumatologist in the Raleigh/Cary NC area

0 Recommendations

I need a new rheumatologist, but I'm having a terrible time finding a good one. I keep getting referred to this one female rheumy that I didn't get along with at all and I don't want to return to her. Anyone in this area have any recommendations? Thanks a bunch!

I just want to mention we are having our second sarc support group tomorrow in Raleigh and I bet if you came you would hear from some of them who see rheumies here. Our meeting is from 10-12:30 and you can access more info on it through our meetup website. This goes to all sarkies and people who are interested in learning about sarc. Hope to see you there.

My doctor is Dr. Rex McCallum. Very popular, but very difficult to get an appt. Good luck.

Help and information from FSR

Sarcoidosis and the Body
Sarcoidosis is a "multiorgan" disease - meaning it almost always involves more than one organ. It's unpredictable and affects different people in different ways.

You can learn about the ways in which sarcoidosis affects the body in FSR's Sarcoidosis and the Body brochure.
