Remission or medication?

I'm doing very well now, even while continuing the reduction in pred dosage. How do I know if this is remission or if the pred & methotrexate dosages are responsible for the good health period & things will go downhill as the pred dosage is further reduced?

Are your labs all normalized, including 24hr urine for calcium? Vit D 1,25, PTH and all the rest? If so, it would seem you are in remission and blessed with a painless taper of meds. Congratulations!

I'll double check with the neur this week. I've had 2 series of blood tests recently but none by either one of my sarc-specific drs. Thanks for the advice. Anna

Help and information from FSR

Sarcoidosis and the Body
Sarcoidosis is a "multiorgan" disease - meaning it almost always involves more than one organ. It's unpredictable and affects different people in different ways.

You can learn about the ways in which sarcoidosis affects the body in FSR's Sarcoidosis and the Body brochure.
