Time: 17:30 - 20:00
Location: The Circle (meeting room 6)
Street: 33 Rockingham Lane
Town/City: Sheffield, United Kingdom

These are addition to the existing London, Essex and Norfolk ones. For further details of any of the meet-ups please email keith.b@uksarcoid.org or call our UK helpline 0808 186 1886.

Description
These are new groups and sufferers, carers, family and friends are all welcome to share news, views, experience or just listen to others.

You do not have to be a member of a specific group and you do not have to attend for the full 2.5 hours - it is intended more of a "drop-in" facility although by all means stay as long as you like.

Thank you for your emails.

So far it looks as though the Sheffield one will have twice the attendees of the Liverpool one.

Remember these are pilot meetings. We need sufficient attendances to justify the grant applications to run these on a permanent regular basis so if you can attend please do so.

They are listed in the "What's On" directories of the local newspapers as well as press releases going out. Local PCTs (Primary Care Trusts), hospitals and some GP surgeries have also been informed.

Sarcoidosis and the Body
Sarcoidosis is a "multiorgan" disease - meaning it almost always involves more than one organ. It's unpredictable and affects different people in different ways.

You can learn about the ways in which sarcoidosis affects the body in FSR's Sarcoidosis and the Body brochure.
