insurance and sarcoidosis?

0 Recommendations

A friend of mine was found to have some swelling of lymph nodes in the lower lungs following an x-ray taken prior to an unrelated surgery. She has not yet investigated further but she and the doctor are thinking that it could be sarc. Any experiences/advice anyone can share about insurance issues with this situation? Any help is appreciated. Thanks so much!

My insurance has been wonderful. So far they haven't questioned anything regarding the sarc and have been very slow, but very good about paying everything, and I've had more tests now than I can count, more doc's visits than HE can count :)~ and still piling them up!
I hope your friend doesn't have this disease, but if she does I hope her insurance is as wonderful as mine as been so far!

I to had swelling in my lymth notes and I just had surgery on them. They did a biopsy on it and it came back as sarcoid. Now Im having a mri on my brian and heart to see if it is there as well. They see it in my lungs already. I had to take flma from work because of this plus I have lots of pain in my legs still. I would like to no if anybody has applied for disability and been approved for it for haveing this?

Stella blue,
My insurance has paid for all so far, I had to stop working and my application for Social Security Disability was approved within 6 weeks. I guess the other way to look at this is that the information the doctors sent indicated my condition was not good, thank you very much " SARCOID" for destroying our lives. It sure is a non stop disorder.
