Infection was my trigger....i think!

I was fine up till the beginning of Nov. when I got a sore throat and a cough along with my oldest daughter. It spread through the house and no one was left untouched. But everyone got better and my cough never went away. By Dec. I was having problems catching my breath and started to wheeze. I also could not smell. My sinus' were so badly swollen and I was so congested!! Thinking I was starting a bad allergy attack and asthma I called my allergist. He sent me for a routinue chest x-ray like he does with all new asthma patience and that is where the fun started....swollen nodes in my chest.

In all honesty I still wonder if allergies might have something to do with it. Other than the nodes my symptoms are so typical allergy that is seems almost odd to be anything else!

All symptoms to date:
Congestion and swollen sinus
Cough that was worse in the morning, night and cold

Medication/Treatment done to date:

HOWEVER,
Looking back I am wondering if this might have been something that I have had for a while. I remember in my early 20's getting swollen neck nodes with no other symptoms other than being tired. After several times of this happening, I was tested for several cancers but everything came back fine and we just wrote it off as being one of those people that the nodes are attacked for infection. It was a good 12 years later this started. How knows!!
