I'm on the vampire sleeping pattern most of the time. Makes it hard to get up and keep my doctors appts! I have been up as long as 52 hours straight but my Cytoxan treatments were at a higher dosage and I was taking extra steroids after the chemo also. Now it's more like 13 hours at a time. Sometimes I sleep in 6 hour shifts with 8 hours up. I think it has to do with the hypothalmus? Where is your sarc located? I know alot of people on other sarc support groups have the same problem.
HELLO MY SARCOID IS IN MY LUNGS,EYES,SKIN,I HAVE SLEEP APNEA,I HAVE VERY LOW BLOOD SO I AM ALWAYS COLD,A NEMIC SHORT WORD,I HAVE TYROID THEY HAD TO CUT ME ON THAT ONE,I HAVE CATR IN MY EYES,OF COUSE DEPRESSION,MY FEET AND HANDS GET SORES ON THEM LITTLE BUMPS THAT HURT,THERE IS SO MUCH MORE AND I HAVE NOT FOUND A SUPPORT GROUP YET,AND I NEVER SLEEP WHICH MAKES MY HEAD FEEL LIKE ITS GOING TO POP
My Cytoxan makes me extremely hot all the time from the waist up but my legs get cold. Good thing I can knit I plan to make me some legwarmers for this winter to go with my shorts and tshirts. My neuro put me on Cymbalta for my back pain and it's an antidepressent but it also helps me sleep, even if it is daytime sleep. I'm having trouble with my fingers tonight so I'll have to make this short. Take care.
