Fatigue

0 Recommendations

I have been thankfully not put on steroids yet for my lungs. Now, I have developed basically all day fatigue for the past week. Is this just part of the sarcoid reality or does wanting to sleep all day mean something else, besides the lungs, is being affected?

BZAP, fatigue is basically my main symptom. I also am on no medication at this time, I took a 12 day treatmant of prednisone, but have been off of that for a week or so. I find that it is difficult to make it through the work day most days without almost falling asleep at my desk. I haven't done that, thank goodness, but it has been really close. Mine is in my lymph nodes, unsure if it is anywhere else, although I do have my suspicions, especially since I am battling yet another sinus, ear, and throat infection. As well as a stye. I hope that you feel better and gain some energy soon. Take care and God bless.

I think that the strees of having sarcoidossis is alone enough to make a person tired out.
Stress can make a person so immobile it isn't funny

I sleep a lot. Before getting my official label, I complained of fatigue. I believe the more active you are the better off you are. I think the exercise helps with the nasty sarc fatigue. So I would recommend doing some sort of exercise even if it is just to walk around the block. Then of course you may have to come home to nap...or at least I do. I have pulmonary sarc and I'm on mtx and prednisone

Sarcoidosis and the Body
Sarcoidosis is a "multiorgan" disease - meaning it almost always involves more than one organ. It's unpredictable and affects different people in different ways.

You can learn about the ways in which sarcoidosis affects the body in FSR's Sarcoidosis and the Body brochure.
