I'm lightheaded allllll the time! Have been for years. I often say that if the cops ever pulled me over, I could never pass the drunk driving test because I'm so dizzy all the time.
I remember the first time I told a doc that I was dizzy several years ago. He looked at my sideways and quite suspiciously asked, "Sooooo, you're dizzy allllll the time?" Child, I said, "Nope. It was a mistake. I'm never ever dizzy." Grabbed my purse and ran the hell up out of that office fast! LOL... We know we're not crazy and that our symptoms are real!
A few years later, I had an electroencephalogram (ECG) and the nurse administering the test told me she had never met anyone so dizzy... having given the test, which measures brainwaves for years and years. Scared the bejesus out of me!
I have neuropathy, congestive heart failure, asthma, low blood pressure, sarcoidosis, and I'm hypoglycemic. I don't think narcolepsy or osteoarthritis contribute to my feelings of faintness, but I was on a roll, so I thought I'd add it.
