Suddenly, sleep is a whole new challenge

I used to sleep well -- always assumed I was a typical sleeper. But since having our first child one month ago, I now find myself awake at all hours of the night, and just getting enough sleep is suddenly a problem. Does anyone else have any stories or advice to share?

I experienced somthing similar with our first child. I found myself worrying about him, which kept me up. Each and every sound he made would have me up and checking in on him. I eventually calmed down and went back to normal.
