I was just given some free trials for this medicine. I was on lunesta and Rozerem and just plain Ambien. There are times when I have unable to sleep for 2 days when I have been on these medications. Does anyone have opinions on AmbienCR or any expeirences with this medicaiton. I am a loss.

I take 25 mg Effexor for puslating tintinus and Ambien. The combination has really helped sleep.

I've had sleep apnea for a long time and tried alot of medications for sleep my dr. gave me a prescription called restoral 22.5 mg. and i can finally sleep for the first time in years i take one before bed and in about 20 min. i am fast asleep, and i wake up refreshed HURRAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i don't no how old you are but if your old enough ask your dr.

Dont know your age, not important to put that infor out, but if you are sensitive to medications you can get a pill splitter or just split it half vertically in half and try it, no alcohol or antihistamines bdfore taking it or that night. Also try going without any caffeine the day you stat it if you can , or cut down by ahlf to a quarter that day. Its been sagfe and I havnt noticed any side effects I can clearly detect from using iit for over three years. Before that I would use diphenhydramine, benadryl, and have next day space out all morning. Not with the ambien. Only drawback is cost, and not dreaming, or not being able to remember any dreams. Good luck, no need to reply.
