skin lesions

I get these nasty skin lesions on my chest, neck, and upper arms. They look like big red c shaped circle that usually does not make a complete circle, all of the skin is slightly raised but in the middle of the ring its a dark icky color and they usually dont itch much but can be very sore. They stay for a long time. Does anyone else have this type of lesion with sarc. I have read about people with sarc having them but that these type of lesions are more common in lupus? Do people with lupus have an elevated ace level also?
