Ramsay-Hunt Syndrome Chronic Shingles

0 Recommendations

Ramsay-Hunt Syndrome is a rare disorder where the shingle virus affects the cranial nerves. It causes a multitude of disabling symtoms. It depends on which nerve or group of nerves the virus is attacking at the time. It seems to be that the symptoms are varing from person to person. I live in constant pain, some days are better than others. My Dr. is now recommending a nerve block. Has anyone tried this as a treatment?
