I found this link and thought I would post it for anyone interested. I have read that osteoporosis rates are very low in Asian women, perhaps their habit of drinking large amounts of green tea explains some of that fact.
My gr-grandmother, who lived to 86, always drank green tea. I think she shrunk only about an inch as she aged and never broke a bone in her life. She died in the 50's so no DEXAs then but she never drank milk or took any vitamins and seemed to have good bones all of her life.
Anyone else interested in more thoughts on green tea?
