Well, hope this gets posted. Wrote a long one and accidentally deleted!
Thanks everyone for soothing my brat. I'm doing better and haven't quite figured out what I'll do. Don't feel right asking for delivery because the hills are dangerous and even those who drive them all the time can barely make it. Our daughter-in-law had a terrible accident the winter we arrived and it cost thousands of dollars to repair.
This morning it was so beautiful. 20 degrees, sunny and no wind. Gunnar, the dog from across the street went with me and we had a wonderful "conversation."
I told Al on bad days he'd have to do without the paper and I'd ask the hill folks to get the mail. He was OK with it. He'll have his knee replaced Dec.1 and will be pretty much laid up for a couple of months. Dr. knows where we live and said he wouldn't want him risking it for 3 months. Then he'd probably let him go.
Well, it;'s 3:30 and time to go for mail. Thanks again everyone.
