At the old age of 63, I am having my first art exhibit, It s a solo exhibit,, consisting of nine (9) 30" x 60" panels, all of which were completed n a span of the last two months, and a few smaller pieces. And,I never had the good fortune to finish art school. Because of that, I have always been somewhat shy about my art skills, or lack thereof, but, let me tell you, these pictures, by God's grace and mercy, have turned out beautifully! We will be having a "meet the artist " reception soon, which will be open to the public, and only a few people have seen these pix, but the reaction has been that they are "drop dead gorgeous". This is quite a body of work to turn out in such a short period of time,if anyone knows anything about art. Just felt like giving myself a pat on the back, and maybe inspiring others to know that God can do anyhing with you at any age . . .. Thanks for reading my prattle.

I a ways feel so bad when I see posts like yours where no one replied. It's the fact that you vented and then were not happy about being everyone here seeming to ignore you. I have started discussions at least 6 times with no replies, II also belong to Invisible Disabilities site) and yes it makes me fell stupid. I think one hint is to make the title stand out and it will grab readers. If someone reads a post I would hope they would reply even if they have no knowledge of the disability someone is talking about, or the subject. I don't read all the things I should. I don't have enough time. I try to answer and I wish I had seen you first post. Maybe it's cause we're in the Senior Group!!!! Good luck with the art.
