Just received the results of my gastric emptying test. The doctor said I have "markedly delayed emptying" she called it gastroparasis. She wants to put me on reglan for two weeks in addition to a low fat diet and 6 small meals instead of three big ones. I am afraid to start reglan as I have seen and heard that it has bad side effects. The doctor sayd 5mg of reglan for two weeks and see how I feel. Anyone have any pearls of wisdom for me.
