Can somebody give me a list of Scleroderma Doctors (specialists) in the states surrounding Colorado? My daughter is seeing a cardiologist & rhuemetologist but need more in depth care.
Thank you.

OK, Colorado is surrounded by Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, and Wyoming.

According to the states database at http://www.scleroderma.org/medical/centers.shtm (see left column)

Utah has this one: http://www.scleroderma.org/medical/centers_ut.shtm .
Arizona has this one: http://www.scleroderma.org/medical/centers_az.shtm
and none of the other states have any scleroderma centers.

Checking the clinical trials at clinicaltrials.gov, neither of these centers has any clinical trials using Cellcept or Cytoxan. Does anyone know whether the doctors there ever use either of these? If not, and you are getting lung involvement, you might want to try going further afield.

Thanks DaisyDo....I appreciate your help!

I see you live in Colorado but you don't want to go to a specialist in Colorado? 'Cause the one at National Jewish Health, which is a clinical trial site for Cellcept/Cytoxan looks promising. I live in Kansas and I'm scheduling an appointment there. My only concern is whether Medicare would pay for some of the same testing I've just gotten CT, PFT, etc. I'm not sure you can get these tests twice in say 6 months

I'm embarrassed that I missed checking that list. I should always be checking both lists. Thanks! There's a third list, too. It's mainly European but has some U.S. doctors on it too. Its this one: http://www.eustar.org/index.php?module=ContentExpress&func=display&ceid=43& bid=19&btitle=eustar&meid=40 .
