Was wondering if anyone has coughed up blood tinged phlegm, or mucous, for the past 2 days I have coughed up mucous with a little blood tinge in it, I have done this about 3 times each day., You know with this SD you never know what to expect with things, I feel fine, no infection, etc. I was diagnosed with mild PAH last June.
So was just wondering if anyone else has done this.

I think you should call your doctor and let themknow something could be wrong and get worse as the days goes by

I too think you should make an appointment with your Dr.(Your pulmonary Dr.might be a good idea). I have never had this problem so I cant offer much advise. The Dr. will probably do a culture to rule out any infection. I hope you can find out the cause soon. Wishing you the best.
My son had blood when he would throw up his spit and his spit was foamy an indication he had fluid in his lungs. They took out a liter of fluid from his right lung and the doctor told him the reason for the blood was because he would couch too much due to the acid reflex and fluid and his throat was raw.
