About sarcopenia

Sarcopenia is an age-related musculoskeletal condition of progressive loss of muscle mass and strength which can result in limited mobility, disability, falls and reduced independence. Although the underlying causes of sarcopenia are complex and not completely understood, it has a significant impact -- both physically and emotionally -- on the lives of those who suffer from it, and their family and caregivers. This group is your place to find practical and emotional support if you are living with sarcopenia or caring for someone who does.
