There is a day Feb.28th that has been proclaimed as Rare Day. It was first recognized in the UK. My friend sent me an email to see if I could get my governor to recognize it in the state of OK. I sent him an email and wrote him a letter. In a few weeks I recieved a beautiful certificate stateing that he had proclaimed Feb. 28th as Rare Disease Day in the state of Oklahoma. If everyone would check to see if your state recognizes this day, I know that some states already do but others don't. All you have to do is contact your governor and ask that he would officially declare it. Maybe someday it will help all of us who suffer from rare diseases. Thank you, Braveslover
