12 yr old newly diagnosed with NF2--acoustic neurofibromas leading to deafness in one hear and hearing loss in the other. Healthy and perfect in every other way. I can't find personal stories or chat rooms on the internet affecting those with type 2, seems quite a few with type 1 but little relation of the signs and symptoms between the two. would love to correspond with others with this. I feel like we're all alone. Thank you
